GardeniaGo — Privacy Policy

GardeniaGo ("we", "us", "the app") is a hyperlocal discovery and community app for residents of Gardenia Heights, New Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using GardeniaGo you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect passwords — sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email.
2. How we use your information
- Operate core features: discovery, directory, reviews, community Q&A, deals.
- Send notifications you’d expect (answers to your questions, etc.).
- Keep the community safe: detecting spam, rate-limiting, and reviewing reported content.
- Measure and improve performance and reliability.
- Show ads (see “Advertising”).
3. Service providers we use
We share data only with the processors needed to run the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (hosted in the EU). Privacy
- Google Firebase — Cloud Messaging (push) and Analytics. Privacy
- Google AdMob — advertising. Privacy
- Google Maps — maps and directions. Privacy
- Sentry — crash/error monitoring. Privacy
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Advertising
We show ads via Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
5. Your content & other users
Posts, comments, reviews, and shop listings you create are visible to other users along with your display name and avatar. Don’t post others’ private information. Content that is reported by multiple users may be hidden automatically and reviewed by our team.
6. Your rights & choices
- Access & edit: view and update your profile in the app (Settings → Edit profile).
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, reviews, and favorites.
- Notifications: turn off push in your device settings.
- Location: deny or revoke the location permission anytime (some map features will be limited).
7. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and contributions are removed from our active systems; routine backups are purged on a rolling basis.
8. Children
GardeniaGo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Security & international transfers
Data is encrypted in transit and protected by row-level security so users can only access their own private data. Our providers may process data in the EU and other countries; we rely on their safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.

«جاردينيا جو» (نحن/التطبيق) هو تطبيق محلي للاكتشاف والمجتمع لسكان جاردينيا هايتس، القاهرة الجديدة، مصر. توضّح هذه السياسة ما نجمعه ولماذا وما خياراتك. باستخدامك التطبيق فإنك توافق على هذه السياسة.

نحن لا نجمع كلمات المرور — تسجيل الدخول يتم برمز يُرسل لمرة واحدة إلى بريدك.
٢. كيف نستخدم معلوماتك
- تشغيل الميزات الأساسية: الاكتشاف والدليل والمراجعات وأسئلة المجتمع والعروض.
- إرسال الإشعارات المتوقعة (مثل الإجابات على أسئلتك).
- الحفاظ على أمان المجتمع: رصد الرسائل المزعجة وتحديد معدّل النشر ومراجعة المحتوى المُبلّغ عنه.
- قياس الأداء والموثوقية وتحسينهما.
- عرض الإعلانات (انظر «الإعلانات»).
٣. مزوّدو الخدمة
نشارك البيانات فقط مع الجهات اللازمة لتشغيل التطبيق:
- Supabase — قاعدة البيانات والمصادقة وتخزين الملفات (في الاتحاد الأوروبي).
- Google Firebase — إشعارات الدفع والتحليلات.
- Google AdMob — الإعلانات.
- Google Maps — الخرائط والاتجاهات.
- Sentry — مراقبة الأعطال والأخطاء.
نحن لا نبيع معلوماتك الشخصية.
٤. الإعلانات
نعرض الإعلانات عبر Google AdMob، وقد تستخدم مُعرّفات الجهاز لعرض الإعلانات وقياسها. يمكنك الحدّ من تخصيص الإعلانات من إعدادات جهازك.
٥. محتواك والمستخدمون الآخرون
المنشورات والتعليقات والمراجعات وقوائم المتاجر التي تنشئها تكون مرئية للمستخدمين الآخرين مع اسم العرض والصورة الرمزية. لا تنشر معلومات الآخرين الخاصة. المحتوى الذي يُبلّغ عنه عدة مستخدمين قد يُخفى تلقائيًا ويُراجَع من فريقنا.
٦. حقوقك وخياراتك
- الاطلاع والتعديل: عبر الإعدادات ← تعديل الملف.
- حذف الحساب: الإعدادات ← حذف الحساب يزيل ملفك ومنشوراتك وتعليقاتك ومراجعاتك ومفضلتك نهائيًا.
- الإشعارات: أوقفها من إعدادات جهازك.
- الموقع: يمكنك رفض إذن الموقع أو سحبه في أي وقت.
٧. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات
نحتفظ ببياناتك طالما حسابك نشط. عند حذف حسابك تُزال بياناتك الشخصية ومساهماتك من أنظمتنا النشطة، وتُمحى النسخ الاحتياطية الدورية تباعًا.
٨. الأطفال
التطبيق غير موجَّه للأطفال دون 13 عامًا ولا نجمع بياناتهم عن قصد.
٩. الأمان والنقل الدولي
تُشفَّر البيانات أثناء النقل وتُحمى عبر أمان مستوى الصفوف بحيث لا يصل أي مستخدم إلا إلى بياناته الخاصة. قد يعالج مزوّدونا البيانات في الاتحاد الأوروبي ودول أخرى وفق ضماناتهم.
١٠. التغييرات
قد نحدّث هذه السياسة؛ سنغيّر تاريخ «آخر تحديث» أعلاه ونخطرك داخل التطبيق عند التغييرات الجوهرية.
